Pullenvale Hall

Wedding: Jamie & James

One of the most stunning weddings! Jamie and James celebrated their nuptials under the light of hundreds of festoon and pendant bulbs, spanning outdoors in a shooting star pattern and sagging indoors from beam to beam over the dance floor. They turned the popular Pullenvale Hall into such a beautiful space with their rustic styling, our vintage lighting and their wonderful personalities!

Equipment List

Our team installed 20 of our 5m Pendant Light Cables indoors, fitted with vintage look G95 Filament Bulbs, along with 6 x 20m Festoon Strands to provide additional light, turning them off when the dance floor came to life to provide a little more intimacy and warmth to the space.

Outdoors we installed 8 x 20m Festoon Strands fitted with 25w warm white bulbs, suspended from a tall centre post, spanning out to 8 of our Festoon Pole & Ground Stake kits.

Approx. Installation Time: 2 Staff @ 6hrs

 

Blue Sky Apartments

Property Launch Party

Hosted upon the rooftop terrace of a newly completed high rise development, the team at Blue Sky threw an unforgettable evening to celebrate the milestone amongst their staff, contractors and new apartment owners.

With 360 degree city views, a live band, clear skies and the warm glow of festoon overhead, the night was a great success!

Being a high rise building, this install required extra time to allow for the the equipment to be brought up multiple flights of stairs.

Backyard Birthday

John’s 50th Birthday

What a sight! We were asked to install a canopy of warm white fairy lights over an empty carpark space between two buildings to provide a stunning feature for a private birthday party.

Along with the canopy, we installed our commercial fairy lights in pre-existing hedges on the property, providing a great backdrop for photos, adding an extra bit of atmosphere to the already stunning event space.

We used muitiple strands of our 100m Warm White Commercial Fairy Lights on a clear wire to complete this installation.

To suspend the lighting, we used pre-existing points on the buildings and catenary wire where there were no existing points to ensure a consistent coverage.

Boggo Road Gaol

A gaolish christmas party!

We were tasked with the job of providing event lighting in Brisbane’s Boggo Road Gaol for Bishopp Advertising’s annual work Christmas Party.

With only a few hours to install before guests arrived, we suspended an array of warm white festoon lighting along the pathways and main features to provide an intimate source of light, amongst the jail’s old-school setting.

Equipment List

Our team used multiple strands of 20m Festoon, fitted with 25w clear warm white bulbs providing the warm festoon glow, as well as the necessary amount of practical light to make the heritage event space both practical, safe and decorative. With limited rigging points in the event space, we also used a large amount of our Festoon Pole and Ground Stake kits to suspend the festoon overhead.

Approx. Installation Time: We used 3 staff over 2-3hrs to provide a speedy installation service to suit the venue’s allocated installation time-frame.

Samsonvale Hall

Wedding: Tom and Clare

Tom & Clare gave us the ultimate task of transforming Samsonval Hall into both a stunning space for their Wedding ceremony which would transform into the ultimate party space with dance floor lighting to keep the night roaring on.

We installed over 40 pendants, 100m+ of festoon, moving lights, a giant mirror ball and more to bring this amazing space to life!

Equipment List

We used 40 of our 5m Pendant Light Cables fitted with alternating styles of vintage filament light bulbs over the banquet tables to provide an intimate source of light during the reception formalities.

Along with the pendants inside, we installed over 100m of our 20m Festoon Strands outside to provide ambient light for guests wanting to enjoy the cool winter air and country serenity.

For the dancefloor, we provided 4 x Martin Mac Entour moving lights, coloured up-lighting and a mirror ball with a lighting operator who was on hand for the entire evening to control the lighting and adjust it to the needs of the clients.

Approx. Installation Time: 3 Staff @ 4-5hrs
